The Orion XS DC-DC charge booster uses the motor power to charge the supply battery and combines high performance with an ultra-compact, fanless design. Available as a 12 V or 12/24 V/mixed voltage model, it is ideal for dual-battery systems and also serves as a DC-DC converter for sensitive electronics.
The Orion XS supports any alternator and battery system with configurable voltage and current. It achieves an efficiency of 98.5 % and delivers its full rated output even at 40 °C. Thanks to stable load absorption, it prevents undercharging of the supply battery even with intelligent Euro 5/6 alternators. The 4-stage charging algorithm adapts to the depth of discharge and extends the service life of the battery for all common battery types.
