Recycling & Disposal
In accordance with the WEEE Directive (ElektroG), the Battery Implementation Act (BattDG) and the Packaging Law Implementation Act (VerpackDG)
1. Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (ElektroG)
Waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) contains valuable materials such as metals, plastics, and glass, many of which can be recovered and recycled. Proper recycling helps prevent hazardous substances from entering the environment while enabling valuable raw materials to be recovered and reused.
Wherever you see this symbol, you can dispose your end-of-life electrical and electronic equipment free of charge through the appropriate collection and take-back systems.
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that electrical and electronic equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Instead, it must be taken to designated collection and return points in accordance with the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG).
Phaesun GmbH is registered with the stiftung elektro-altgeräte register (ear) under WEEE Registration No. DE 55086009.
2. Disposal of Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries (BattDG)
Batteries and rechargeable batteries are subject to statutory take-back obligations and must not be disposed of with household waste. Please return them to an authorized local collection or take-back point for environmentally responsible recycling.
Phaesun GmbH is registered with the stiftung elektro-altgeräte register (ear) under Battery Registration No. DE 40294519.
To reduce the risk of fire during transport and handling, cover the exposed terminals of used batteries and rechargeable batteries with insulating tape before disposal to prevent short circuits.
For further information on waste prevention, reuse, and the safe disposal of batteries, please visit www.batterie-zurueck.de.
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Where applicable, batteries are also marked with the chemical symbols of the following heavy metals:
- Hg – Mercury (more than 0.0005% by weight)
- Cd – Cadmium (more than 0.002% by weight)
- Pb – Lead (more than 0.004% by weight)
These markings indicate that the respective heavy metal exceeds the legal concentration threshold.
3. Disposal of Packaging (VerpackDG)
Packaging should be disposed of separately according to the applicable local waste collection and recycling system. Proper disposal helps conserve valuable resources and supports the recycling of packaging materials.
Phaesun GmbH is registered with the Central Agency Packaging Register (ZSVR) in the LUCID Packaging Register under Registration No. DE 5948962087685.
