The String-Shield generator junction boxes (GAK) are designed as robust, pre-wired protection and distribution units for modern photovoltaic modules with high currents. They combine fast installation, high safety and long-term reliability - ideal for professional PV systems in various applications, such as telecommunications, pumping and irrigation systems and pipeline monitoring.

Depending on the version, the generator junction boxes are designed for 600 V or 1000 V and cover currents from 25 A to 100 A. Different variants enable flexible use in various system configurations.

Thanks to the integrated standard string inputs, the GAK can be installed particularly efficiently and with minimal errors. A high-quality surge arrester reliably protects the system against lightning and switching surges.

A DC circuit breaker provides additional safety and enables complete, service-friendly disconnection of the strings. String Shield generator junction boxes with more than two parallel PV strings are additionally equipped with string fuses to protect against fault currents in other PV strings.

The IP65-protected housing with integrated pressure relief valve ensures high resistance to environmental influences. The String-Shield product line thus offers reliable protection, high system availability and minimal maintenance requirements - even under demanding operating conditions.
